Julia Engelbrecht

In case we haven’t met yet: I’m Julia Engelbrecht. Ever since I was young, my passion has been for movement and the functioning of the human body. Hence the choice to become a physiotherapist in Vienna/Austria, where I was born and raised. I then further specialized in sports physiotherapy. Yet I missed the holistic approach to healing and recovery and the search for the cause of complaints. That’s why I decided to study osteopathy at The International Academy of Osteopathy (IAO).

During this 4-year study, a world opened up for me and I look at a physical complaint in a completely different way: not the complaint but you as a whole is central, where every complaint is an unsolved puzzle. My vision is to solve this puzzle and thereby find the cause for an effective recovery.

The vision of Osteopathie Laarman appeals to me enormously, and that is why I am very pleased to be able to join the Osteopathie Laarman team in Zwolle.
