Complementary Medicine
Osteopathy concentrates on the movement of the body.
Osteopathy concentrates on the movement of the body. Motion loss does not only harm the functioning of that specific tissue because the entire body is connected; it could cause symptoms elsewhere in the body. Restriction of movement could occur from scarring after surgery or tissue adhesion due to inflammation or stress.
Complementary Medicine
The osteopath restores the original mobility through gentle touch. The natural healing process does the rest from thereon. This process means that after the treatment, your body returns to the (original) condition on its own in which all physiological functions can be performed healthily.
Osteopathy is primary care that is complementary to regular medicine. Indications for Osteopathy are, for example, chronic back or neck pain, migraine, whiplash, stomach ache, poor bowel functioning, and crying babies.
